Born and raised in Busan, South Korea, I immigrated to Canada with my family at the age of seven. I completed my Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo before earning my Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney. Since beginning my career in 2018, I’ve been committed to providing patient-centred, high-quality care—and owning my own practice became a long-term goal.

Today, I’m proud to call Pemberton Valley Dental my home. My vision for the clinic is simple: to combine modern techniques, advanced technology, and a welcoming environment where every patient feels supported. As a general dentist, I’m passionate about delivering comfortable, aesthetic, and personalized care. I understand that each patient has unique goals, and I strive to blend preventive dentistry with customized treatment plans that help people achieve smiles they feel confident in. I truly believe that a healthy, confident smile can positively influence overall well-being.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find me snowboarding, rock climbing, or enjoying the outdoors. When I’m not adventuring, I’m just as happy unwinding with a good gaming session—balance is everything!

Originally from Australia, Dr. Heidi North brings an international perspective and a passion for aesthetic, full-mouth, and Invisalign® dentistry to Pemberton Valley Dental. Her work is shaped by a deep commitment to precision, artistry, and patient-centred care—helping individuals achieve healthy, confident smiles that feel as good as they look.

Dr. North is currently completing her Master’s in Aesthetic Dentistry (MSc) at King’s College London, one of the world’s leading programs in advanced cosmetic dentistry. She is also a graduate of the renowned Dawson Academy in the United States, where she received comprehensive training in functional occlusion, full-mouth rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary treatment planning. These combined experiences allow her to approach every case with both a cosmetic eye and a strong foundation in long-term oral health and function.

With a gentle, detail-oriented approach, Dr. North loves helping patients understand their options and guiding them toward personalized treatment plans—whether they’re seeking subtle refinements, complete smile transformations, or predictable orthodontic alignment through Invisalign®.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys embracing life in British Columbia and exploring the beauty of the Sea-to-Sky region. Her warm, friendly nature and dedication to her craft make her a valued part of the Pemberton Valley Dental team.

As the Director of Operations at Pemberton Valley Dental, I bring a highly motivated, multifaceted approach to supporting our team and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care. I’m passionate about creating a positive, welcoming environment where both our staff and our patients feel valued. With a strong background in customer service, brand development, and team leadership, I work behind the scenes to keep our clinic running smoothly while upholding the high standards our community expects.

I thrive on collaboration and take pride in mentoring our team, strengthening processes, and finding opportunities to elevate the patient experience. Outside of the clinic, I stay active through hockey, hiking, and biking, and I’m deeply committed to community engagement. Above all, I love spending quality time with my wonderful family—they inspire me every day and keep me grounded in what truly matters.
